The Foundation of Abhi Engineers
Our journey began 30 years ago under our parent company, Abhi Engineers. The company was founded by our respected uncle in Gujarat with a simple yet steadfast principle: build machines with honest quality, solid engineering, and long-lasting durability.
Over the decades, our factory grew through hard work and customer trust. Later, we—two brothers—joined our uncle's business. Under his guidance, we learned the importance of fine precision metalwork, patient assembly, and treating every machine as a mark of family honor.
The Gift for Shree Ranchhodji Mandir
The true inspiration for our electric aarti machines happened in our uncle’s native town. A close friend of our uncle had built a beautiful temple dedicated to Shree Ranchhodji Bhagwan.
During the grand Pran-Pratishtha Mahotsav (temple inauguration celebration), our uncle wanted to offer a gift of lasting devotion. He personally built and gifted a large, automated temple-sized Jalar machine for the mandir.
“Seeing the heavy brass bells strike automatically and hearing the devotees sing aarti with joy, an idea touched my uncle’s heart:
“Grand temples have big bell machines. But why shouldn’t every Indian family have a compact, mini jalar machine right inside their home mandir, so they can perform morning and evening aarti pooja with the same divine sound every single day?”
1 Year of Hard Work, Sketches & Success
A few days later, our uncle returned to the factory and gathered us. He explained his visionary thought of creating a small, compact-sized mini jalar machine specifically designed for home temples and pooja rooms.
We—the two brothers—listened with deep excitement and took up the challenge. Creating a machine that was small enough to sit comfortably in a ghar mandir, yet strong enough to produce the rich, reverberating chime of heavy temple bronze was a difficult engineering puzzle.
We made countless sketches, drafted new striker mechanisms, and fabricated multiple mini prototypes. Several of our early models failed or were rejected because they didn't meet our standards for sound and durability.
After 1 full year of continuous trials, patient modifications, and hard work, we finally succeeded! We perfected the silent motor, the analog rhythm control knob, and the pure cast bell striking assembly. Our uncle’s vision had officially become a reality through our family's tireless efforts.
